Who Is My HOA? Houston HOA Lookup by Address | InSync

Who is my HOA?

Type a Houston address. We read the county appraisal roll and the state's management certificate register and tell you which association governs it.

What this is, and what it is not

Where the data comes from. Texas Property Code 209.004 requires every property owners association to record a management certificate with the county clerk and file it with the state. That register is public, and it is what this searches. Property details come from the Harris County Appraisal District.

Why more than one association can show up. Houston stacks them. A master association and a section association often both govern the same lot, and a townhome regime can sit on top of that. When we return more than one, that is usually the truth rather than an error.

What we do not show. Nothing about any person. No owner names, no delinquencies, no violations, no account balances. This is a lookup about a property, and it is not a screening tool. It may not be used to decide anyone's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment or tenancy.

Verify before you rely on it. Dues and fees change, and a certificate reflects the day it was recorded. Before closing, order the resale certificate from the association itself.
